The Jericho Methodist Church on Route 15 is having its annual spring tag sale from 9am to 6pm on Friday and from 9am to 3pm on Saturday.
Saturday, May 25th
Relay for Life Team Tailgaters is having a gigantic lawn and bake sale on Route 7 in Milton. Luminary bags will also be for sale.
The Wild Center in Tupper Lake is hosting a Massawepie Mire Birding Expedition with professional guide and ornithologist Alan Belford. For more details, go to www.wildcenter.org
The North Hero Volunteer Fire Department is having a roast beef dinner from 4:30pm to 7pm at North Hero School.
May 25th is the deadline to register for the Funds for Fallen Officers Walk and Memorial Motorcycle Run happening on Saturday, June 15th in St. Albans. The money raised supports C.O.P.S. (Concerns for Police Survivors.) These events celebrate Vermont State Trooper Sergeant Michael Johnson, who died in the line of duty ten years ago. The Lincoln Library is having its annual “Front Porch Book and Bake Sale” and “Side Porch Plant Sale” from 10am to 3pm.

St. Rose of Lima Church in South Hero is having a lawn and bake sale from 8am to 4pm on Saturday and from 9am to 2pm on Sunday.

Elisabeth Von Trapp is performing a concert at the Winooski United Methodist Church at the corner of West Allen and Follett Streets at 4pm. Everyone is welcome. There will be a good will offering.
The First Baptist Church at 81 St. Paul Street in Burlington is hosting a marathon breakfast from 8am to 9:30am for $5 per person.
Thursday, May 30th
The Visiting Nurse Association presents “Start the Conversation,” a program that encourages families to learn about end-of-life care options, at The Terraces at Shelburne from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. It is free and open to the public.
Friday, May 31st
“Celebrate Colchester’s Performing Arts Night” commemorates the town’s 250th anniversary combining the community chorus, the high school band and choruses, the community band and a historical skit. This celebration takes place at Colchester High School at 7:30pm.
The Cathedral Church of St. Paul on Cherry Street in Burlington presents “Piano Two by Two” featuring music of Beethoven, Brahms, Revel and more at 7:30pm. The performance is by members of Greenfield Piano Associates.
“Wheels for Conner” benefit spaghetti dinner and dance is being held at the Hinesburg Community Alliance Church. Dinner is from 5pm to 7pm and the dancing begins at 7:30pm. For reservations, call Victoria at 985-3914. The cost is by donation. May 31st is Connor’s 6th birthday.

The Heineberg Senior and Community Center at 1 Heineberg Road in Burlington is having a tag and bake sale from 9am to 2pm.
St. James Episcopal Church at Gate “F”, a back entrance to the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds, in Essex Junction is having a flea market from 9am to 3pm.
A flea market, craft fair and plant sale are being held at the Vermont Grange Center, 308 West Street in Brookfield from 9am to 5pm. Food is available all day including a ham dinner. The Middle River Gospel choir will perform a concert in the evening.
Audubon Vermont in Huntington presents a lecture on Peregrine Falcon Recovery from noon to 1pm at North Branch Nature Center, 713 Elm Street in Montpelier at part of the 2013 BirdFest.

Spring Spectacular, a “polished” variety show to benefit KidSafe Collaborative of Chittenden County, is being performed at South Burlington High School at 6:30pm. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.

The Cathedral of St. Paul at 2 Cherry Street in Burlington presents the dozen a capella singers of Syrinx with classic Renaissance madrigals and Broadway favorites at noon. It is free and open to the public. Bring a bag lunch. Coffee and tea are provided.
