April’s Outstanding Achievements Include: 

• Working at Mount Abraham Union Middle and High School as Director of Student Support. 
• Developing systems during the COVID 19 Pandemic and remote learning to ensure the welfare of students, their families and the faculty of Mount Abe. 
• Being referred to by families and colleagues as “the light that saved them” during the pandemic. 
• Being an expert listener, problem solver, and an educator who goes above and beyond without being asked. 
• Working to shape education to focus on the whole child.
