“Kim has shared so much of her time, energy and love for the community of Hinesburg and now has extended that to the nursing community.  Kim always says it is the horses that do all the work, but I would like to see her recognized for all that she has done.” – Jean Sheehey

Kim’s Outstanding Achievements Include: 

  • Being owner and operator of The Livery Horse Farm in Hinesburg Vermont teaching kids, teens and adults how to ride and care for horses, promoting a kind and caring atmosphere.
  • Volunteering as leader of the Hinesburg 4H Group The Midnight Riders for 25 years. 
  • Volunteering as a mentor to Champlain Valley Union High School students, teaching them the benefits of horse therapy. 
  • Working hard to keep her student programs running even during the height of the COVID 19 Pandemic, creating a safe environment for her students and their families so they could enjoy the benefits of being around horses during a difficult time.
  • Inviting nurses to her farm to experience the therapeutic benefits of being around horses during a very trying time in their career. 

Stampede Walkathon & 5K Run
