Mary McAllister has worked as a domestic victims advocate with the Burlington Police Department for thirty years. In her three decades of serving the Burlington community, Mary has dedicated herself to protecting victims of abuse, helping them stand up to their abusers, and encouraging them to break the cycle of violence. Mary’s ability to help people navigate court systems, her willingness to be patient, her desire to protect the community’s vulnerable, and her loyalty to Burlington are just some of what makes Mary a woman who inspires.
