When Dawn Tatro tragically lost her daughter, Jenna, to addiction in 2019, she turned to hope. Dawn and her family started Jenna’s Promise and Jenna’s House, which used evidence-based methods to aid those with substance abuse disorders and provide support to the families of those suffering. In addition to this, Dawn is on the leadership committee for the annual Substance Use Addiction Summit at the Champlain Valley Expo and donates to multiple organizations which share her mission. Through speaking at events, she inspires others with her story and advocates for strong systems of care in Vermont. Dawn Tatro is nothing short of a superhero!
