Congratulations to today’s winner, Pamela Gude, one of our Outstanding Women of 2026!
“Flask’s love of the outdoors is not limited to Girl Scouts, she supports local college students, serves on town committees and is engaged with many local causes.” -Carrie Loszewski
Pamela Gude, or, as her Girl Scouts know her, “Flask,” is the leader of Troop 13940 in South Burlington and a lifelong member of the Girl Scouts. Her decades of experience as a music teacher and the knowledge she holds as a Vermont Master Naturalist mean she is particularly well-suited to provide outdoor education and aid in the personal growth of the girls she mentors. She has been recognized many times by the Girl Scouts for such continued dedication. In addition to her work with the girl scouts, Pamela is a community partner to Rubenstein School of Environmental Studies at UVM for many years, where she works with teams of students to mentor projects including a recent draft management plan for a town forest for the Bolton Conservation Commission. Pamela goes above and beyond to encourage the naturalist spirit in all!
