Leslie Wright has spent over 25 years working to empower young women in sports through efforts like her program, Snow Stars. Every winter, Snow Stars allows young girls to break into the world of Nordic and Alpine skiing by providing them with equipment, clothing, and, thanks in part to collaboration with Middlebury athletes, expert instruction. Apart from Snow Stars, Leslie created Sisters in Sports, a basketball mentorship program that promotes sportsmanship and dedication while introducing girls to higher education and college-level athletics. Leslie’s work to provide girls with access to sports has inspired confidence, strength, and collaboration in her community for decades!
