CAT PERSON. LANDRY AND VIOLET ROSE CROSSED THE “RAINBOW BRIDGE.” LILY MAE AND ROWDY EARL ARE KEEPING US COMPANY NOW.

What do you love most about living in the Champlain Valley?

I’VE LIVED IN A LOT OF GREAT PLACES. ADD THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY TO THE LIST IN WHICH TO WORK AND PLAY.

What’s your favorite thing to cook for other people?

CHILI. I ADD THE HEAT AFTER MY WIFE HAS BEEN SERVED.

What is something else (besides radio) that you’re good at?

WRITING.

How would you describe the way you dance?

“DANCING WITH THE STARS” HAS ME ON A RETAINER AS A CONSULTANT.

What’s your go-to karaoke jam?

“TAKE IT EASY” BY EAGLES. I LEAVE OUT THE LINE, “I GOT SEVEN WOMEN ON MY MIND” WHEN MY WIFE IS AROUND. SELF-PRESERVATION.

What’s your most embarrassing moment on the radio?

I WAS THE MORNING GUY FOR WACK-AM 1420 IN NEWARK, NEW YORK, NEAR ROCHESTER, IN 1981. I WAS DOING A “LIVE” BROADCAST FOR A “CHRISTMAS IN JULY” EVENT IN NEARBY CLYDE. ORGANIZERS MADE PILES OF SNOW FOR THE FOLKS TO BUILD SNOWMEN IN 80+ DEGREE HEAT. WHILE ON-AIR PLAYING RECORDS AT THE SITE, SOME MORONS DECIDED TO THROW SNOWBALLS AT OUR BOOTH. YOU CAN IMAGINE THINGS DID NOT GO WELL.

Who is your favorite country artist of all time?

TOUGH DECISION, BUT I HAVE TO SAY GEORGE STRAIT.

What’s your favorite country song of all time?

“AMARILLO BY MORNING” BY GEORGE STRAIT. I’VE ASKED MY WIFE TO HAVE IT PLAYED AT THE CELEBRATION OF BEING CALLED HOME.

What’s your favorite thing about the BIG Station 98.9 WOKO?

THAT I’M ABLE TO GET A PAYCHECK TWICE-A-MONTH FOR DOING THIS? #BLESSEDANDFORTUNATE
