Saturday, December 10th  Mountain View 4H is hosting a craft sale at the Bridport Masonic Hall from 10am to 3pm with a hot lunch selection, bake sale many crafters and vendors

Saturday, December 10th  The Cadyville Community Tree Lighting is taking place at the Cadyville Fire Station on Route 3 from 5pm to 7pm with a decorated fire truck parade, wagon rides, a visit from Santa and refreshments.

Saturday, December 10th  St. Michael’s Playhouse presents Broadway Direct at Vergennes Opera House at 2pm.  The show is packed with Broadway favorites and Christmas tunes.  Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for those 16 and under.  Go to or call the Box Office at 802-654-2281

Saturday, December 10th  VFW Post 6689 at 73 Pearl Street in Essex Junction is hosting a Band Night with the Hitmen from 7pm to 10pm.  The public is invited.

Sunday, December 11th St. Peter’s Parish in Vergennes is having a Breakfast Buffet from 8am to 10am sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

Sunday, December 11th Enjoy Breakfast with Santa at the Lewis Fire Department in Lewis, New York from 9am to 11am and a visit from Santa, who has a free gift for each child.

December 11 – Breakfast Buffet St. Peters Parish Hall from 8 to 10:00 AM. Omelets to order, Scrambled Eggs, French Toast, Bacon, Sausage, Fruit, Plain and Blueberry Pancakes, Maple Syrup, Sausage Gravy on Biscuits, Corn Bread, Home Fries, Mini Muffins Juice, Milk, and Coffee. $10 adults $6 Children 8 to 12yrs. $32 immediate family maximum. December 16 from 4PM-7PM – “Holidays are for Sharing” Toy Drive at The Wooden Nickel. Donate a new, unopened toy to help provide gifts to the children of Essex County, NY. Appetizers will be served. Basket raffles and 50/50 drawing will be available to help raise funds to support the program. All donations stay within Essex County, NY.

Thursday, December 15th The White River Junction VA Healthcare System presents the Veterans Benefits Administration at community clinics in Vermont and New Hampshire including the South Burlington Vet Center at 19 Gregory Drive from 9am to 2pm.

Friday, December 16th  The “Holidays Are for Sharing” Toy Drive by the ACAP is taking place at The Wooden Nickel, 8201 Route 9 in Lewis, New York from 4pm to 7pm with basket raffles and refreshments. Help by donating a new, unwrapped toys or money for the children in Essex County.

Friday, December 16th VFW Post 6689 at 73 Pearl Street in Essex Junction is hosting a Wing Night from 5:30pm to 7pm.  The public is invited.

Friday and Saturday, December 16th & 17th The Vergennes Lions Club in conjunction with the Marine Corps League is operating the “Toys for Kids” collection for the Vergennes area for needy parents or caregivers.  Look for the red barrels to donate to donate a new, unwrapped gift for children 2 to 18.  Pick 2-3 toys/gifts on Saturday and Sunday, December 16th and 17th.

December 17 from 2PM-7PM and December 18th from 1PM-6:30PM – Vermont Ballet Theater is pleased to present their luxurious production of The Nutcracker ballet at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington.
