Wednesday, March 27th

The Clinton County Animal Response Team is offering a training on handling animals during emergency response situation. The CART is a group of interested volunteers, who are willing to help evacuate and/or shelter animals after a disaster. Saturday, March 30th

Due to last Saturday’s snowstorm, the Rummage Sale at New Haven Congregational Church was rescheduled to March 30th from 8am to noon.

The Milton Egg Hunt for ages 0-9 and Park Spruce Up Day take place at Bombardier Park West with over 3000 eggs and a golden ticket. The egg hunt begins at 11am and sprucing is from 9am to noon. Help get the park ready for spring.

Friday, April 5th

VFW Post 6687, 73 Pearl Street in Essex Junction is having a Fish Fry from 6pm to 7pm. The public is welcome.

Family-friendly bingo is being held at St. Peter’s Parish Hall on Main Street in Vergennes at 6pm. Doors open at 5pm. All are welcome.

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is offering a new Instructor Training Course for people interested in volunteering to teach Hunter Education courses in Vermont from 9am to 4pm at R.E.C. Zone, 94 Harvest Lane in Williston. Call 802-828-1193.

The Clinton County Department of Social Services is having an informational meeting for prospective Foster/Adoptive and Respite Parents from 6pm to 7:30pm at 13 Durkee Street in Plattsburgh. All are welcome and there is no commitment.

A Paint Night Fundraiser is being held at St. Peter’s Parish on Main Street in Vergennes from 6pm to 8pm. This alcohol-free event raises money for the Michelle Kilbreth Legacy Foundation for Hope. Early Spring

Vermont Fish and Wildlife is asking drivers to slow down and be cautious when traveling at night in early spring or to take alternate routes to avoid driving roads near wetlands and ponds that salamanders and frogs cross during breeding season.
