The established recovery organizations listed below are accepting monetary donations that will be used to purchase needed items and provide financial support:

Vermont Flood Response and Recovery Fund

Vermont Disaster Recovery Fund

Northern New England Red Cross

The Green Mountain United Way

The Vermont Department of Agriculture has set up a website for the farming community with response and recovery information and resources. https://agriculture.vermont.gov/flood

Vermont Emergency Management is asking those wishing to volunteer to please register with their office first. Please do not self-deploy—the volunteer effort needs to be coordinated to be effective. https://www.vermont.gov/volunteer

Homes and Businesses affected by flooding should report their damage through Vermont 2-1-1.

Residents can also dial 2-1-1 or visit www.vermont211.org for more information on receiving help from state and federal officials, and learn about the latest resources to help with flood recovery.

Vermont Emergency Management reminds residents the State of Vermont will not ask for donations. Don’t fall victim to a scam. Don’t provide any information to anyone who may reach out representing the State of Vermont.
